while the dining room remains closed due to Covid19 precautions.
As many of you know, at FANLAP we have a dining room where we serve approximately 100 children a hot meal five days a week during the school year. Most of these children live in Colonias Marquez de Leon, Laguna Azul, Villas de Guadalupe and Vista Hermosa, on the outskirts of La Paz. Because of the mandatory closure of our dining room due to the corona virus, these children will not be able to partake of this program.We have been putting together dispensas (care packages) of rice, beans, oil, pasta, tuna, mayonnaise and other staples to feed a family of four for two weeks. At the end of that two weeks, we’ll do another until we are able to reopen the dining room.
